Types: There are several types of dock levelers, including telescopic dock levelers, which improve logistics efficiency by forming a slope transition between the vehicle and the platform, and scissor levelers, which are height-adjustable platforms for significant height differences.

Telescopic Dock Levelers can achieve a safe and fast loading and unloading process, improve logistics loading and unloading efficiency, effectively adjust the height difference between the bottom plate of different transport vehicles and the platform, forming a slope transition between the rear of the vehicle and the platform, enabling the loading and unloading process to be completed in one go, avoiding accidental damage and unnecessary risks.
For places with high insulation and sealing requirements such as cold storage, Telescopic Dock Leveler is a better solution. A Telescopic Dock Leveler is installed on the inner side of the cold storage insulation sliding door. After the door is closed, it directly falls to the bottom of the foundation pit, blocking the air convection between indoor and outdoor areas, thus achieving a fully sealed design of the unloading position and reducing energy loss.

Operating Range
The standard mechanical Edge of Dock Leveler is designed for operation ±5" above and below dock level for gas forklifts or ±3” for all other equipment types.
Our Low Dock Solution
For loading docks too low for this working range we also offer low dock ramps designed to be mounted to the floor of your loading dock opening. By effectively raising the level of your dock an edge of dock leveler may be mounted at a height suitable to your freight needs.
Our low dock ramps are also available for those with existing dock levelers mounted below their ideal operating range.
Edge of Dock Leveler Design
The Dock Leveler is designed to accommodate a maximum of five inches above and below the dock, providing 18.5% grade down and 20% grade up. This is acceptable for most gas or propane forklifts but is not suitable for most pallet trucks or many electric forklifts.
